Vacancies in agriculture, domestic service, short-term and small-establishment jobs are excluded from the Chapter's coverage. The Chapter excludes from its employment information and monitoring provisions specific vacancies: private-sector agricultural/horticultural work (excluding plantations), domestic service, staff of legislatures, employments under ninety days, classes or establishments and non-government establishments below a notified employee threshold, and any other notified employments. Further exclusions apply by notification for vacancies filled by promotion or absorption, vacancies filled through specified recruitment agencies, and vacancies in employments with monthly remuneration below an amount notified by the appropriate Government.
