Fatal accidents and serious bodily injuries at work must be promptly reported by employers to the competent authority under prescribed rules. Requires prompt reporting by or on behalf of an employer of workplace accidents causing death or serious bodily injury to the competent authority, with a specified short time limit and a statutory definition of serious bodily injury; the State Government may extend coverage to other premises or permit alternative submission routes, and establishments covered by the employees' insurance scheme are excluded.
