        Misuse of benefits: Government may notify deprivation of social security benefits after prescribed procedure and hearing. The appropriate Government may, if satisfied in the prescribed manner that an establishment or person has misused a benefit under the Code or its schemes, notify deprivation of that benefit for a specified period; no such order may be passed without giving the affected party an opportunity of being heard, and procedures to ascertain misuse relating to Chapter III shall be specified in the Provident Fund, Pension or Insurance Scheme as applicable.
