Officer Can Adjourn Public Examination Under Rule 218 of LLP Winding Up Rules for Sufficient Reasons
Rule 218 of the Limited Liability Partnership (Winding up and Dissolution) Rules, 2012, allows an officer appointed by a Member to adjourn a public examination to the Tribunal. If the officer believes the examination is being unduly prolonged or for any other sufficient reason, they can recommend that the examination be conducted before the Member. The officer must submit a report to the Member, who may then choose to conduct the examination personally or issue orders as deemed appropriate.
