Service of summons requires advance personal or postal delivery and provision of reasonable expenses to the examinee. Service of summons under the Rules requires issuance in the prescribed form and service at least seven days before the examination; personal service requires payment or tender of a reasonable sum for the examinee's expenses fixed by the Member or Registrar with regard to the Tribunal fee scale, and where served by registered or speed post that sum must be sent to the examinee by some other manner.
