<h1>Public Examination of LLP Partners in Fraud Cases Required by Rule 216 of 2012 Winding Up Rules</h1> Rule 216 of the Limited Liability Partnership (Winding up and Dissolution) Rules, 2012, mandates the public examination of partners, designated partners, or officers in cases involving fraud. The examination is conducted before a Member, who may delegate it to specified officers. If the examination date is not predetermined, the Liquidator must arrange it with the Member or officer. The order for public examination follows Form No. 70, and the Member may issue directives on specific examination topics either in the initial order or subsequently.
