Liquidator Must File LLP Disclaimers for Winding Up; Leasehold Interests Require Immediate Filing; Use Forms 79 and 80
Every disclaimer in the context of a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) winding up must be filed by the Liquidator with the Tribunal to become operative. If the disclaimer pertains to a leasehold interest, it must be filed immediately. Interested parties must be notified about the filing. The disclaimer should detail the disclaimed interest and list the notified parties, using Form No.79 for the disclaimer and Form No.80 for the notice. Once filed, a copy of the disclaimer must also be submitted to the Registrar.
