Authority to pay distributable sum allows an entitled person to direct the liquidator to pay a nominated third party. A person entitled to a distributable sum may lodge with the liquidator a written authority authorising payment of that distributable sum to a named third party; the authority must be in the prescribed form (Form No. 84).
