of <h1>Petitions under Rule 87 must be advertised in newspapers 7 days before the hearing, except for LLP winding up.</h1> Rule 87 of the Limited Liability Partnership (Winding up and Dissolution) Rules, 2012, mandates that any petition requiring advertisement must be published at least seven days before the hearing date. This advertisement should appear in both an English daily newspaper and a regional language daily newspaper within the relevant State or Union territory, unless otherwise ordered by the Member. The Member has the discretion to waive the advertisement requirement, except in cases involving the winding up of a Limited Liability Partnership.
