<h1>Liquidators Must Notify LLP Creditors and Partners 7 Days Before Public Examination Under Rule 217 of 2012 Rules</h1> Rule 217 of the Limited Liability Partnership (Winding up and Dissolution) Rules, 2012 mandates that the Liquidator must notify creditors and partners of an LLP about a public examination at least seven days in advance. This notification is to be done via advertisement in specified newspapers and through personal service, registered or speed post, or an empanelled courier agency to the individuals being examined. The notice must include the date, time, and officer for the examination, along with the order directing it. If the examination is adjourned, further advertisement or notice is not required unless specifically ordered.
