De-registration and forfeiture of security require notice, opportunity to be heard, possible suspension pending inquiry and representation rights. De-registration and forfeiture of security for an Authorised Courier may be ordered for breach of bond conditions, regulations or misconduct; such revocation requires notice and an opportunity for written representation and hearing. The Commissioner may suspend registration pending an inquiry to establish prima facie grounds. An aggrieved courier may represent to the Chief Commissioner within the prescribed period after communication of the order.
