of <h1>EOUs, EHTPs, STPs, and BTPs can conduct export activities with BOA approval, exempt from FTP/HBP provisions.</h1> Export Oriented Units (EOUs), Electronic Hardware Technology Parks (EHTPs), Software Technology Parks (STPs), and Biotechnology Parks (BTPs) can be established with Board of Approval (BOA) consent to conduct activities such as reconditioning, repair, testing, and re-engineering for export purposes. These activities must be conducted in foreign currency and are exempt from certain provisions of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and the Handbook of Procedures (HBP). Units engaging in these activities are not allowed to sell in the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) or avail certain other benefits.
