Risk Management Committee oversight coordinates annual review and enhancement of customs and GST risk frameworks. The National Risk Management Committee (NRMC), convened by DGARM, provides annual oversight of RMS, NCTC-Cargo, NCTC(Pax) and the GST Business Analytics Wing, reviewing and advising on risk parameters across import/export, container scanning, ECCS, PCA and IPR protection. It recommends new parameters, improvements to automated targeting and analytics modules, mitigation measures for field formations, centralised examination order rollout, and enhanced use of technologies and data sources such as AI/ML, image analytics and geospatial analysis to address emerging and systemic supply chain security risks.
