  1. Checkout this video tutorial: How to search effectively on TaxTMI.
  2. Put words in double quotes for exact word search, eg: "income tax"
  3. Avoid noise words such as : 'and, of, the, a'
  4. Sort by Relevance to get the most relevant document.

            DGFT Phases Out Physical MEIS & SEIS Scrips for EDI Ports; Paperless Scrips Not Valid at Non-EDI Ports

            The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has phased out physical copies of MEIS and SEIS Duty Credit Scrips for EDI ports to streamline export processes. Effective from April 10, 2019, scrips issued electronically cannot be used at non-EDI ports, and no Transfer Release Advice (TRA) will be issued for these paperless scrips. Physical scrips will still be issued for non-EDI ports, with TRA available for imports at other EDI or non-EDI ports, maintaining the current practice for these locations.
