            <h1>Consolidation of cargo now permitted at gateway ports, allowing re working of sealed containers to reduce freight and transit time.</h1> Consolidation of cargo at gateway ports is permitted to enable re working of sealed containers cleared at ICDs/CFSs; export containers sealed at ICDs/CFSs may be opened at gateway ports for destination wise stuffing, and LCL import cargo can be consolidated ICD wise at gateway ports, allowing supervised re working and re stuffing to reduce freight costs and transit time while preserving Customs formalities.
