Domestic Courier Bags Allowed on International Flights with Conditions; Must Register with Customs and Submit Goods Declaration
The movement of domestic courier bags on domestic segments of international flights is allowed under specific conditions. The courier company must be registered with Customs, and domestic courier bags must be distinctly marked and stored separately from international ones. A 'goods declaration' must be submitted at embarkation, detailing the contents and number of packages. At disembarkation, the cargo manifest must be filed with Customs by the aircraft's person in charge or the on-board courier. The Escort Officer of Customs will handle the declaration for verification. On-road couriers cannot carry courier bags as hand baggage on the aircraft.
