Electronic sealing: self sealing exporters must affix RFID tamper proof seals and declare seal data for customs verification. Electronic self sealing permits exporters to seal containers at their premises with tamper proof RFID seals meeting Board standards, load specified shipment and identification data into the seal, declare the seal's physical serial number in the electronic shipping bill, and remain subject to Customs' risk based inspection and seal integrity verification at port or ICD.
