However, Indian residents returning from abroad, excluding Nepal and Bhutan, can bring up to Rs. 25,000. Additionally, non-residents visiting India, who are not citizens of Pakistan or Bangladesh and are not traveling to or from these countries, may also bring Indian currency notes up to Rs. 25,000 when entering through an airport.
