SEZ Units Can Export Goods, Services Under Rule 45; Includes Agro-Products, Excludes Prohibited Items
Under Rule 45 of the SEZ Rules, units within Special Economic Zones are permitted to export goods or services according to the terms outlined in their Letter of Approval. This includes agro-products, partly processed goods, subassemblies, and components, excluding items prohibited under the Import Trade Control Classification. Additionally, units may export by-products, rejects, and waste scrap resulting from the manufacturing process.
