            <h1>AEO status restoration permitted following remedial measures or licence reinstatement, subject to AEO Programme Manager discretion.</h1> Restoration of AEO status may be permitted at the AEO Programme Manager's discretion where an AEO holder cures non-compliance by satisfactory remedial measures within the prescribed period, where suspension of an underlying licence is revoked by the competent authority, or where show cause disputes remain within an acceptable proportion of duties and drawbacks; downgraded AEO holders may reapply for higher status once eligibility conditions are met and applications will be assessed under the standard grant procedure.
