            <h1>Authorized Economic Operator status enables tiered customs facilitation, reduced procedural checks and prioritized electronic and physical clearance.</h1> The AEO programme provides tiered facilitation by incorporating low-risk scores into Customs risk management and reducing procedural burdens. AEO-T1 receives expedited cargo release, DPD/DPE access, entry ID cards, reduced bank guarantees, time-bound investigations and dispute resolution, less frequent on-site audits, and certain drawback sampling exemptions. AEO-T2 adds waiver of seal verification for non-DPD/DPE consignments, priority scanning and assessment, deferred duty payment, faster drawback disbursal, paperless declarations, CRM support and broader electronic access. AEO-T3 offers highest facilitation including minimal scanning, reliance on self-certified documents, no bank guarantees, risk-based interventions and on-request onsite inspections. MSME AEOs get further BG relaxations.
