Make Most of Text Search ✕
  1. Checkout this video tutorial: How to search effectively on TaxTMI.
  2. Put words in double quotes for exact word search, eg: "income tax"
  3. Avoid noise words such as : 'and, of, the, a'
  4. Sort by Relevance to get the most relevant document.
  5. Press Enter to add multiple terms/multiple phrases, and then click on Search to Search.

            Customs Broker Licence Valid for 10 Years, Renewable with Rs.15,000 Fee Under CBLR 2018; Late Fee Rs.2,000

            The licence for Customs Brokers, as per the CBEC's Customs Manual 2023, is valid for 10 years from issuance and can be renewed for another 10 years if the licensee's performance is satisfactory and compliant with CBLR 2018. Renewal requires a fee of Rs.15,000/-. If the renewal application is late, a late fee of Rs.2,000/- is applicable. Licences under the Authorised Economic Operator Programme do not need renewal as long as the authorisation remains valid.
