Contract labour licences may be revoked or suspended for misrepresentation or non compliance after opportunity to show cause. The licensing authority under section 119 may revoke or suspend a contract labour licence obtained by misrepresentation or where the holder has failed to comply with licence conditions or contravened the Part, after giving the contractor an opportunity to show cause and following Central Government prescribed procedure; the authority may also amend a licence subject to applicable rules.
