Delegation of powers under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code permits central delegation to states or subordinate officers. The Central Government may, by notification, direct that any power exercisable by it under the Code or rules shall, in relation to specified matters and subject to specified conditions, be exercisable also by the State Government or by a specified officer or authority subordinate to the State Government.
