<h1>Occupational disease reporting: employers and doctors must notify prescribed authorities, with penalties for medical nonreporting.</h1> Employers must report any worker contracting a Third Schedule disease to prescribed authorities in the form and time set by the appropriate Government, and qualified medical practitioners attending current or former employees believed to have such diseases must promptly send written reports to the office of the Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator in the prescribed form, manner and time; failure by a medical practitioner attracts a penalty up to ten thousand rupees.
