Employer notice requirement: establishments must notify prescribed authority before starting or stopping operations and file notices electronically. Employers of establishments such as factories, mines, contract labour sites or building and construction works must notify the prescribed authority, in the form, manner, to the authority and within the time prescribed by the appropriate Government, before commencing any industry, trade, business, manufacturing or occupation and must intimate cessation; such notice or intimation is required to be given electronically.
