Contract labour must be provided specified welfare facilities by the principal employer at the host establishment. The principal employer of an establishment must provide the welfare facilities specified under sections 23 and 24 to contract labour employed in that establishment, making provision of those amenities an operational duty of the principal employer during the period of deployment.
