State Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Board advises government on Code administration; government prescribes its structure and committees. State governments must establish a State Occupational Safety and Health Advisory Board to advise on matters referred by the State Government; the State Government prescribes the Board's constitution, procedure and related matters. The State Government may also constitute technical or advisory committees, including site appraisal committees, with prescribed membership and qualifications to assist the State Government or the Board in discharging functions within their jurisdictions.
