Training allowance rules for mine trainers and instructors require extra payment beyond normal wages for supervised training and vocational instruction. Training allowance is payable in mines, in addition to normal wages, to a trainer for each day a trainee works under supervision, at a rate prescribed by the Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator on recommendation of the committee and notified by general or special order. A similar allowance is payable to an instructor, other than a regular appointee at the training centre, for each day training is imparted in a Vocational Training Centre.
