        Medical facilities in motor transport undertakings must meet staffing, equipment, and emergency readiness requirements. Every motor transport undertaking must maintain a medical facilities room or dispensary at each operating centre and halting station, or at depots and other offices in city service, with adequate space, emergency arrangements, prescribed equipment, emergency lighting, and a suitable communication medium. The facility must be under a full-time qualified medical practitioner with prescribed qualifications and supported by at least one nurse and one General Duty Assistant-Healthcare or Nursing Assistant. The nurse must be State Nursing Council registered, trained in Basic Life Support, and have emergency experience.
