Medical examination standards for mine workers require FORM IX certification, electronic transmission, retention of copies, and return of prior records. The examining authority must issue the medical certificate electronically or by speed post to the person concerned, send a copy electronically to the mine employer, retain the third copy, and, in periodical examinations, return the previous medical certificates to the mine manager.
