Special training in mines requires advance training modules and mandatory worker training before new technology is introduced. Special training is required in mines before new technology, equipment, or a system of work is introduced. The employer must prepare and submit the training module at least sixty days in advance, and the Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator may require written modifications. Persons to be employed in the new technology, equipment, or system of work must undergo training under the rules based on the training module.
