Employer of every factory, mine, building or other construction work, motor transport undertaking, dock work and plantation must provide suitable and sufficient washing facilities at accessible places with regular water supply, soap and towels separately for male, female, transgender and persons with disabilities employees. The facilities must be ventilated, drained, sanitary, private, properly demarcated, and common towels are prohibited. For building or other construction work, additional washing or shower-bath facilities with hot and cold water are required where employees are exposed to skin contamination, and such facilities must not be used for any other purpose.
