of <h1>Income Tax Total Income Must Be Rounded to Nearest Ten Rupees as Per Income-tax Act Rules</h1> The total income calculated under the Income-tax Act must be rounded to the nearest multiple of ten rupees by disregarding paise. If the last digit before rounding is five or more, the amount is increased to the next multiple of ten; if less than five, it is decreased to the previous multiple of ten. This rounded figure is considered the total income for tax purposes. Provisions relating to earned income adjustments previously included have been omitted.
