<h1>Industrial Relations Code: Power to repeal earlier labour Acts and deem prior actions as effective under corresponding Code provisions</h1> Section 104 empowers the Central Government to notify repeal of the Trade Unions Act, Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act and Industrial Disputes Act when commencing provisions of the Industrial Relations Code, while allowing unrepealed portions to remain until similarly repealed. It deems actions, rules, notifications, appointments and orders made under the repealed enactments to have been done under corresponding provisions of the Code, provided they are not contrary to the Code. Section 6 of the General Clauses Act is made applicable to such repeals, preserving legal continuity and transitional effect.
