Registered trade unions are excluded from societies, co operative and company laws and such alternate registrations are void. Section 13 provides that registered Trade Unions are excluded from the Societies Registration Act, the Co operative Societies Acts (including multi state), the Companies Act and any corresponding State co operative laws; any registration of a Trade Union under those Acts is void, thereby preventing parallel registration under societies, co operative or company law.
