<h1>Prohibition of unfair labour practices under Industrial Relations Code bars employers, workers and trade unions from specified conduct</h1> Section 84 prohibits unfair labour practices by any employer, worker or trade union by forbidding the categories of conduct enumerated in the Second Schedule; the provision imposes a blanket prohibition applicable regardless of registration status of the trade union and makes those specified practices unlawful. The operative effect is to criminalise or render actionable (as provided elsewhere in the Code) the listed employer, worker and trade union behaviours set out in the Second Schedule, thereby creating a statutory basis for enforcement against such conduct.
