Dismissal of worker: tribunals can set aside unjustified terminations and order reinstatement or interim relief pending adjudication. Where a dispute over discharge, dismissal or termination is adjudicated by a Tribunal or referred National Industrial Tribunal and the termination is found unjustified, the Tribunal may set aside the termination and direct reinstatement or award lesser punishment or other relief; the Tribunal may also grant interim relief during the dispute but must rely only on materials on record and may not take fresh evidence.
