          <h1>Transfer of establishment: Workers with one year continuous service are entitled to notice and retrenchment compensation.</h1> Where ownership or management of an establishment is transferred, every worker in continuous service for not less than one year immediately before the transfer is entitled to notice and compensation as if retrenched, unless the change of employer leaves service uninterrupted, preserves terms and conditions not less favourable, and the new employer is legally liable to pay compensation treating service as continuous.
