Register of members serves as prima facie evidence of membership commencement and cessation dates. Any register or list of members or shares kept by a multi State co operative society is prima facie evidence of the date on which a person entered the register and became a member, and of the date on which that person ceased to be a member, thereby giving the society's membership records presumptive evidentiary weight for commencement and termination of membership.
