Restriction on reemployment bars former authority members from joining cooperative societies for a specified cooling-off period. The Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Members of the Authority are prohibited from accepting employment with any co-operative society, including consultancy roles, for two years after leaving office, with an exception for employment under the Central or State Governments, statutory corporations and government companies.
