Chief Executive can call special meeting on board's direction or requisition; Central Registrar intervenes if not convened.
The Chief Executive of a multi-state cooperative society can call a special general meeting at any time upon the board's direction or within a month of receiving a written requisition from the Central Registrar or specified members as outlined in the bylaws. If the meeting is not convened as required, the Central Registrar or an authorized person can call the meeting, which will be considered as if called by the Chief Executive. The Central Registrar may direct that the costs of organizing the meeting be covered by the society's funds or by those deemed responsible for not convening the meeting.
