The Authority's head office location is determined by the Central Government. Eligibility for appointment requires prior government service at specified ranks. The term of office is three years or until the age of sixty-five, with eligibility for re-appointment. Salaries and conditions of service are prescribed, excluding ex officio members, who serve as long as they hold their respective government offices.
