Applicability of Act: multi state cooperative societies covered, including pre existing societies whose registration remained at commencement. The Act governs all multi State co operative societies and also applies to co operative societies with objects not confined to one State that were incorporated under earlier co operative laws before the Act's commencement, provided their registration had not been cancelled before that commencement.
