Section 117 Limits Court Role in Multi-State Co-Op Society Matters: Registration, Bye-Laws, and Dissolution Restricted.
Section 117 of the Multi-State Co-Operative Societies Act, 2002, restricts court jurisdiction over certain matters related to multi-State co-operative societies. Courts cannot address issues concerning the registration, amendment of bye-laws, or the winding up and dissolution of such societies unless specified otherwise in the Act. During the winding up of a society, legal proceedings against the liquidator or the society require approval from the Central Registrar, who may set conditions. Additionally, decisions or orders made under this Act cannot be challenged in any court, except as otherwise provided within the Act.
