<h1>Central Government to Support Multi-State Co-Operative Societies' Infrastructure, As Per Section 63A, Up to 50% Funding.</h1> The Central Government is authorized to provide financial assistance to multi-State co-operative societies for infrastructural development, contingent upon the society having contributed to the Fund for the preceding five financial years. The assistance can cover up to fifty percent of the total infrastructural requirement, with the society responsible for the remaining cost. A Committee, as outlined in section 63A, is tasked with examining applications and recommending the extent and terms of the assistance to the Central Government. This provision was inserted by the Multi-State Co-Operative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2023.
