        Power to issue directions ensures authorities can mandate compliance for free and fair cooperative society elections, binding officials. The Authority may, by general or special order, issue directions to the board, its members, the Chief Executive and other staff of a multi state co operative society as may be necessary for the conduct of free and fair elections, and such persons shall comply with those directions.
