Summons service: parties must serve documents by registered post or courier and file affidavit with proof before hearing. When summons or notice is ordered by private service, the appellant, applicant or petitioner must serve copies of the appeal, petition or application by registered post or courier and file an affidavit of service with proof of acknowledgement before the date fixed for hearing, unless the other side has already been served.
