of <h1>Rule 27 Requires English Translation of Documents for Tribunal Proceedings; Certification Process Specified in 2016 Amendment.</h1> Rule 27 of the National Company Law Tribunal Rules, 2016 mandates that any document not in English, intended for use in tribunal proceedings, must be accompanied by an English translation. This translation must be agreed upon by both parties or certified by an authorized representative or approved translator. Proceedings will not be scheduled for a hearing until all parties confirm that all documents are in English or translated, and the required number of copies is filed with the Tribunal. The rule was amended in December 2016 to specify the certification process for translations.
