Power to extend time lets a tribunal enlarge procedural deadlines, even after they have expired, subject to terms of justice. The rule authorises the Tribunal to extend time for any act or proceeding fixed by the rules or an order, on such terms as justice requires, and permits enlargement even when the application is made after the appointed time has expired.
